Are you sure that you live in a nation of crackpots? (warning nsfw (but funny) mp3 link) And I'm sorry to say that your fluoride theory might not be on track. We have it here too.. Of course if you talk to people in other provinces they might say that it still supports your theory.

I wonder what the “specific crimimal penalties” for unmarried moms would have been. Don’t see anything about the unmarried dad penalties… hmmm… and what if the single moms were knocked up by married dads?? Whoeee, I guess this issue IS more complex than anticipated.

I don’t like Margaret Atwood’s stuff either. :( And I don’t like hockey either. I’ve been such a terrible Canadian this week.

Also? This week, Tom and Katie said they were reproducing, and I can’t help but think how handmaindely Katie looks in a *lot* of their photos. (I don’t seek them out, honest.)

How absolutely terrifying that there are actually people (and way more than I could possibly want to acknowledge) who actually think like that! I’m so glad that she dropped it, but somehow I don’t think she has given up!

Perhaps when authors write about fictional places, people and situations that should boldly be written on the cover with the warning “DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME”. I do not balme Margaret Atwood (although I can’t say that I personally like her work) but rather people who have too much time on their hands and read such things that catch their fancy and then think that they too should do something like this. Sigh.

Perhaps there is a reason that sheep can’t read.
