Yay! And according to CNN.com, we still have a chance at the Senate. Okay, probably a very long shot, but still. This rocks!

Now that I’ve actually listened to the episode…

We watched Santorum’s concession live last night, and I couldn’t take my eyes off the kids. I felt so bad for that little girl, not only because she was so upset, but because of the brainwashing of hate that must go on in that family. I interpreted the son’s behavior differently, as an awkward kid who was going to be ribbed in school the next day because his dad was a loser. But you may have a point. Either way, I hope those kids grow up to have a wider perspective on the value of all of humankind than their dad does.

I was so optimistic and gleeful on election day 2 years ago. I was convinced that Bush was not going to win, and was so excited to vote that I was at my polling place before it opened, at 6 in the morning. Yesterday, I finally dragged myself to my polling place around midday, and first had to register myself to vote, as I’d been in such denial about politics that I hadn’t even done that, yet. Maybe I should always be depressed and pessimistic on election day. At least, better to start out that way than to end up that way.

Sage you are too funny ;)

(I’m not U.S. citizen so I can’t vote. But I’ve been fed up with the republicans too)

Adding more fuel the fire of your speculations – have a look at this photo. Even if it is photoshopped it is pretty funny.

Aw man, Todd. You beat me by 20 minutes. I popped in specifically to link to that photo.

Save your energy – you don’t need to do it for Montana anymore – that one went Democrat. I’ve read, though, that we might have to wait until after Thanksgiving for Virgina since the vote must be certified before the recount.

Meanwhile let’s everyone wave a fond goodbye (fond of waving goodbye, not fond of the person) to Donald Rumsfeld!

I must be a heartless bitch, as I actually enjoyed watching Santorum’s children cry, spawn of my public enemy number one that they are. However, not as much as I enjoyed listening to you gloat, Sage.

I had to laugh out loud at this one! I’m full of schadenfreude for those kids and this whole affair. I especially feel a big “nah-nah-nah-boo-boo” for that stupid lady who yelled, “No, no!”

I’m curious to see just how the political landscape will change in the next two years. But at least the Dems are in power. :)

I’m a little behind in my listening… Very happy, too, about the election.

One point of correction: Here in Minnesota we elected Keith Ellison, an African American Muslim man, to be a representatve, not a senator. But we’re sending him to Washington!
