  1. This was such a funny podcast! It’s nice to hear the English language mangled outside of the context of Quirky Quiz. It’s great that you included examples of mangled Chinese characters. I think English speakers tend to get upset when speakers of other languages can’t get our language right, forgetting that we often can’t do much better.

    On a vaguely related note, who else hates the proliferation of “misplaced” quotation marks?!?

  2. Hey Gang - what a great podcast! I was happy to emerge the victor in the battle of Manglish vs Chinese Tattoops, though Tian has some more great examples at Hanzi Smatter.

    It took me a second to realize James was reading the words I had written! I don’t think many bloggers expect to ever hear that.
