It makes me sad. I mean, I want to say “Great traditions of peacekeeping (which did involve shooting at people, but at least that wasn’t the whole point of them being there),” but even then, the way the military is marketed to teenagers and kids - isn’t this gun so cool! We can kill lots of people in this tank! - doesn’t gel with that.
