  1. Dark and twisty people of the world unite! (or does that make me a fascist, too?)

  2. I consider myself pretty dark and twisted, but I found this one very disturbing. Rape just doesn’t do it for me, even in parody.

  3. After thinking this over, I want to publicly put my comment into a little context. I did think most of this piece was funny. I have *always* enjoyed Tim’s contributions to this, one of my very favorite podcasts. And I do trust both of you not to mean actual violence toward people. Still, I did find the violence in that piece really shocking and thought it was important to say so - because I do respect you, not because I don’t.

  4. Elizabeth -

I was really pleased to see both your comments - neither changed my own opinion of Tim’s brilliant piece (Forget the rape, it included a PUN, and every time you make a pun, a kitten dies!) but debate and intelligent conversation are always welcome here.

  5. Guess what? They have them here too, except *their* symbol is four cedillas joined in the centre. http://flickr.com/photos/ttyrtle/2437760476/
