I listen on the bus. And I even vowed to remember to comment when I got to a computer. But I didn't. And then I ended up writing a 5 page (in pen, on paper) letter to someone after a mutual friend went mad and dropped out of life. But, yes, I listen. And I'm commenting to at *least* tell you that much.

And, you know what? You, Cast On, and Radio Lab are the only 3 podcasts that I listen to at normal speed. All the others run at double-speed so I can plow through them before they pile up like snowdrifts.

My favorite mornings start with The QN.
Thank you for every spit-take and all the beverages that end up in my sinuses.
You affectionate fan,

Sage, I am shamed into pulling ye olde finger out and finally making comments. I discovered QN recently via Cast-On (which I discovered in March) and my commute has been so much more pleasant ever since.

Just today you had me laughing out loud in my car as I drove home.

Thank you for all your fine work.

We are out here and you make a difference :)

In a dark cave, somewhere on the leeward side of a small New Zealand island, my foot trapped under a suddenly shifted boulder, the last of my laptop battery causing flickering light in dank fetid atmosphere, my wireless broadband wavering, I too was saved by a podcast comment (and an earthquake and a Kiwi naval vessel!) It was the life and light that this one commenter shared with me that kept me going in my literally darkest moment.

And so I say yes, yes to you, great Sage and thank you for bringing this important issue once again to life.

This podcast brightens many a dreary day in my laser lab! (No, not the Dr. Evil kind of lasers atop sharks' heads). I try to ignore the annoyed glances from my labmates as I giggle like a schoolgirl during the funny bits.

I've been listening for several years, and would love to see Blue Peach make a comeback (I would totally ask out Kimmy if I swung that way). Although, it's been great hearing all the new directions you have been taking the podcast. Hearing Brenda use "Syne, you bitch!!" as her beep noise absolutely killed me. And I'd absolutely love to hear more from Ms. Grizzle, though I know that was done for a different podcast. And getting to know Kite through you has been particularly touching.

This is all on top of the delightful commentary on your life and the world that you bring us every week. I've tried to avoid sounding like a stalky fanboy (a task at which I've failed miserably). I seem to have run out of superlatives, so let me just close by saying that I love this podcast, despite the bemused looks I get from my friends when I try to quote the funny parts. I promise to comment more!

Shameless. Absolutely shameless. But effective.

I wait eagerly for QN and have archived a couple of my faves: 5 Slides, anything from the answering machines, all shows featuring Shatnerizing, Quirky Qizzes and any other multiperson hilarity.

And my all time fave: Paper Doors.

Now. I just need to get to writing that 3 minute story...

Sage, your podcast and many others brightens my universe with your stories, plays, Bacon/Quizes and enlightening interviews and songs. I have longed to be a minion at the foot of the mighty Sage, but alas I am currently without proper technology. Sigh, soon...

All right, dearies. Matching each and every one of your comment pledges was all well and good in 2006, when I was newly retired. These days, what with my secretarial duties at the garden club, pole dancing lessons at the senior center, and training for the world bog snorkeling championships, I just do not have the time. It's up to you now. I mean it. Would it kill ya to comment? I think not.
