How did Clara 73 begin?
When Tim Ralphs and I found ourselves accidentally almost writing an entire audioplay via email based on Tim’s mispronunciation of the words “Krapow Chicken” as “Kaow Chicken” in a voice-directed recording and the fact that Tim’s Irish accent is almost as bad as my British accent, we decided we should put our creative energies into something that would be interesting to more than just two people.
How do you write the episodes?
We began with half a conversation, for the first episode.
Beginning with the second episode, we are alternating writing the script. The other person edits, the author makes a second draft, and then we record.
